Yes — TropicalMed is open to everyone regardless of nationality, residency status, or insurance. You do not need Polish health insurance (NFZ), a PESEL number, or Polish residency. Simply book an appointment online or by phone and come to the clinic with a valid passport or ID card.

No referral or prescription is needed. All vaccinations at TropicalMed are administered after an on-site consultation with a travel medicine physician. The doctor will evaluate your health, check for contraindications (including pregnancy, immune disorders, allergies, and medication interactions), and recommend appropriate vaccines — all in a single visit. An appointment is required, but same-day slots are often available.

Your visit takes approximately 20–30 minutes. Upon arrival, you'll have a short consultation with a travel medicine doctor who will review your travel plans, health history, and any medications. The doctor will recommend a vaccination plan and assess contraindications. After that, a nurse will administer the vaccines. You'll receive your vaccination record (ICVP / yellow book) and may need to wait 15 minutes for observation. That's it — you're good to go.

The required vaccinations depend on your destination. Common recommendations include: yellow fever (parts of Africa and South America), typhoid (Asia, Africa), hepatitis A (developing countries), rabies (longer trips to rural areas), cholera, Japanese encephalitis (Southeast Asia), meningococcal ACWY (Africa, pilgrimages), and dengue (tropical regions). Your TropicalMed doctor will create a personalized vaccination plan during your appointment.

Yes. TropicalMed issues and updates the International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis (ICVP), commonly known as the 'yellow book'. This document is often required at borders, especially for yellow fever vaccination. If you already have a yellow book, bring it to your appointment and the doctor will update it.

Bring a valid ID (passport or ID card) — no Polish documents such as PESEL or NFZ insurance card are required. Also bring your travel itinerary, any existing vaccination records (yellow book), and a list of medications you take.
